Farmer Pat came to visit us .....When Farmer Pat came to visit, he showed us where he lives. He lives in Victoria with his loving family. He has four brothers and 1 twin brother and his 7,000 sheep. At the moment he is at Charles Sturt University in WaggaWagga, learning to be a professional farmer. He is also a Wool Classer and showed us his stamp with his stencil number on it. Farmer Pat showed us different parts of wool on the sheep. These include the fleece, belly, crutchings and much more. We learnt about different types of sheep: Corriedales, Merinos, Dorper, Gromarks and more. He talked to us about all the different jobs you can have in the Australian Wool Industry. We are very thankful that he came to visit Jugiong public school. Written by Isabelle, Dustin, Ellie, Regan and Maurie. Thank you Farmer Pat for sharing your slideshow with us. We learnt so much about The Australian Wool Industry.
